By the end of the week, the number of wildlife in the backyard has been dramatically reduced.
1) Last night at lax practice I get this text from Suzanne, “Dead groundhog in backyard and Holly’s mouth. Yuck!”. I had noticed Holly engaged in some serious excavation work over in one corner of the yard…I guess the one pup didn’t figure out that too far south was bad news…..
2) Get home from lax practice and the boys point out the full-size still-twitching bunny that has been deposited on our porch. Sigh.
3) Small duck like substance found this morning at the front door…..
It’s a rough world around here…….
