Green Division Finals: Okemos beats Eastern 490-350. Game was tied at 150 at one point. Kevin probably played his best match of the year in this game; four out of the first ten, did well in the pop quiz, came up big in the lightning round. This win clinches the 5K scholarship.
Grand Championship: Okemos beats Jackson Christian 520-310. The White Division final was a nail-biter, JC won on the last question, 420-400. Pretty dramatic. But in the final we got out to an early lead and it was never really close after that. The final was not one of Kevin’s better game; he was clearly matched up against JC’s best kid in the pop quiz and that did not go well…..
But, it’s over. And they are the winners!
