Made it home from NJ Friday around noon; had again awoke at 3:30 am to get to the airport super early, this time to try and fly out standby before the snow socked the airport in. My original flight (10:43 am) did go, but any flight after that until 7 pm the next afternoon did not. I did get standby and was out of there on the 6 am flight.
Friday was video-taping-performance-day; the whole family went back Saturday night for closing night. I would prefer to tape on closing night; the kids have more fun with the scenes, but, better to tape Friday night and make sure I have it with Saturday as a backup.
As briefly discussed earlier, the play is series of scenes, all taking place at 9 pm on Friday night in Almost, Maine. Kevin is featured in two of the scenes, and his ‘main’ scene is the only one where you see the actors in that same role more than once in the show.

That scene, the first of the play, is the end of Kevin-sightings in the first half. Feel bad for Avery, all of her on-stage time is here, or at the end of the play. At least Kevin got another scene…..

Apparently the script says thou shall look off-stage twice, and twice only. And Kevin has timed his ‘looks’ with music cues……

The cast list in the program has Kevin’s role here as ‘man’….it is supposed to be a bit of surprise that he is, in fact, Emily’s Danny. And I knew that, I had written it back when he was cast, and still forgot when I was watching for the first time Friday night.
This is the same Emily from quiz bowl (and the next episode, by the way, is two weeks away)

Asked Kevin at the end of the play if he was going to keep the snowball…”Oh yeah, that’s a good idea!”. He had it signed by everyone at the cast party.
