Two games this weekend; first up is the bottom of the league from Dearborn Heights.
We are winning 5-0 before the first subs hit the field; it’s 7-0 at the half and 8-0 final.
This boy played center-back in the first half; not all that busy but took care of his business….

….moved up an played attacking center-mid in the second half. But didn’t see the ball all that much; we really dialed it back but still, kind of surprising. First game all year that Matthew did not record a shot…
Turned into a nice day after some clouds at the beginning. Ended up being a good start to the sports weekend. Head home (game start is at 10:30, game is running late, we leave for home at noon and are heading back out at 1:15 to get to Matthew’s football game).
(Coach Stu’s take will be posted in this pace later this week; I hope he wrote it Saturday night and it isn’t tainted by Sunday’s game too much. That’s foreshadowing….)
