Summer camp might be a misnomer; it has been pretty chilly all week. Am looking forward to getting the play-by-play from Fric and Frac on Friday….should be pretty good since they haven’t seen each other all week (the age groups change at 6th grade, so, Matthew is with soccer buddy Henry in one camp and Cpher is with Sam in the older camp). All are in the paintball oriented camp, so, plenty of pictures of that coming below.
Like that they take all these pictures; really like that the download cost is only $0.99.

The boys had discussed getting ‘blobbed’ quite a bit after last year’s camp….Matthew is getting ‘blobbed’ here…
He is quite a mess here! Some explanation of that below….
We also signed up for daily emails from our campers. They include a photo and a sentence or two. One boy, we think, is quoted pretty faithfully. The other boy? We suspect most of his sentence comes from the counselor.
Matthew’s pictures, in order:
“This week I am looking forward to just getting time to play paint ball! How is Vegas?”
“This week in my RAP sessions we have been talking about Jesus's miracles and how he always cares for everyone!”
“My favorite part of camp so far has been paint ball!
I can relate it to God because the barriers, which are like God, protect you from paint balls which are like sin!”
Christopher’s Pictures, in order:
"I'm looking forward to paintball everyday! My goal for the week is to get better at paintball!"
"We went swimming this morning! I liked the green slide because it went really fast. I'm excited for ziplining because I really liked it last year!"
"Last night at crud wars we jumped in a puddle of mud and then we threw water balloons, flour, horse feed and shaving cream at each other! It was really fun!"
