Previous reports have documented that Kevin was trying to hold onto the 7th spot in cross country; we’re sad, but not particularly surprised, to report that Kevin is now running 10th or 11th and has slowed down considerably (he’s 20 to 30 seconds slower in the last two races).
One mitigating circumstance might be that’s he has been a little sick, but, the main culprit is just lack of effort. He’s not running on his own and he’s not running in practices since musical started and it shows. Today he has a meet and he absolutely has to finish in the top 7 to have any chance to run in the top 7 in the season ending meets next week. Will be surprised (pleasantly surprised, but surprised) if he pulls it off.
