Last days of summer included a trip to the East Lansing Aquatic Center. I brought the video camera and captured about 10 jumps/dives for each of the boys.
All of these pictures come from the video:
Thursday, this boy finally came out of his cast. Unlike Matthew’s ortho, this ortho wants Cpher to wear a brace for the next month. This will be a major pain in the ass for football I bet…we’ll see.
Anyway, the best part of the brace is that you can get it wet.
Frac gets some serious height on his flips….you’ll note that the also is rotating in line with the board…
The last time we came to ELAC I was impressed by Cpher’s flips….and for maybe the first 6 or 7 times off the board he didn’t do any of that, just straight dives and jumps. Asked him why not and didn’t get a good answer, but, he did do two flips to end the day.
They weren’t the same flips as the last time; I remember he would finish his rotation way before the water…thought he did a better job than Matthew….not today though; he decided to jump off and rotate and then start flipping….
which made for some pretty interesting motions (and pictures)….
and he’s damn lucky that both of his flips didn’t end in back flops…..but it was close.
Very close……
This boy gets a lot of height….
and a lot of distance….
and is a flipping fool…..
