Another year of number #43 and black and gold cleats….
Yesterday, for the first time all year, Cpher was able to practice with full contact. Did OK according to early reports, received some praise on defense for blasting through the line repeatedly and getting close, but not quite, to the quarterback. Game 1 is on Saturday (and Saturday brings the first of the football conflicts, Fric and Frac play at the same time 15 miles apart) so we’ll see what happens there.
Sixteen players means a few things….1) I’m glad we have two teams, means more playing time and I expect to see Cpher on the field almost all the time and 2) spreading out our talent and size probably means we won’t be as competitive (6-0) as last year. We will see…..
