All Hutsell males wore flightless fowl black and gold gear to school or work today.
Have to like this feature of the internet.
Lacrosse: Kevin's team went 0-4 over the weekend. Kevin reports his coaches yelled out that he was doing well and used his (and another kids) defense as an example, so, that's good. Every practice, every game, they do a warm-up lap, and I've told Kevin before that I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be out in front on that lap, and so, I get a great deal of enjoyment watching those laps and seeing him out in front and not just 'doing the lap' but making the effort to be out in front.
The game against Dewitt, his friend, Dean, was right behind him when they ran by the parents, so, I yelled out to Dean, "Come on, you can catch him!" Made Kevin have to sprint to the finish, so, that was good.
Soccer: Last outdoor game of the year; Mighty Rhinos lost. Team kind of forgot a lot of the passing-spreading-out-position stuff I've been trying to teach them. Oh well.
Movie: Saw "Prince Caspian" in between lacrosse games on Saturday. Good, kind of long.
Upcoming: heading up north to Mackinaw Island next weekend.
