This post will be mostly about the musical, but, the phrase “Curtains!” could certainly apply to this weekend in sports. Three soccer games on deck and all three wiped out due to wet, soggy, fields. So, a whole lot of nothing on that front and the sure and certain knowledge that those three games will have to be completed (along with the other 15 games on the schedule) by June 5th. Going to be a busy month!
Note: the 15 games don’t count the 3-5 games over Memorial Day in a tournament.
Anyway, Friday night was opening night for Curtains, the OHS musical. Kevin is strictly part of the ensemble, singing away, twirling and dancing his little heart away. We’re going to attempt to videotape the production next weekend (in violation of the ‘rules’…). We’ll see how that goes.
The musical is a murder-mystery and the setting is a musical within a musical; this costume is the ‘real’ world. Kevin has this picture as his profile picture on facebook….he clipped out just his head and took a whole bunch of crap from his partner that he did that….so now the picture out there has both of them.
Three photos from “The Woman’s Dead” song that I posted video of sometime back. Fric and Frac enjoyed the show, Cpher was singing along with this number since he’s seen it a few times now. Both boys really enjoyed watching Kevin dance and twirl his partners around….both seem a little leery about being part of a musical in coming years.
The musical inside the musical is a western (you can see the backgrounds here). Kevin has a cowboy get-up on for those scenes, but, sadly, I haven’t seen any photos of that appear online yet…..
