Well, Kevin made varsity. Coaches email last night “This will be our Varsity team this year. It is large and that means playing time will be spread out somewhat but the pro there is that it will mean we will be more developed and ready for next year.”
Will be interesting to see how that playing time works out…Kevin is right on the edge of being #4 doubles….some consistent winning would probably seal that up. More of the same as we’ve had this week would mean less playing time with the team.

Outlook: The Chiefs will look to rebuild after losing the bulk of a 2011 team that finished fifth in the Division 2 state finals. Elan D. will return with a doubles state title and Herschel A. will play his fourth year of varsity tennis, but most of the rest of the squad is an unknown quantity.
