(another half-started post from the past…)
At least a couple times a week Kevin goes all George W. Bush on us and amazes us with his English skills. After just chuckling as they go by, I’ve finally decided to try and capture some of them
- Kevin’s algebra teachers hasn’t been there all week; ask him why “She’s being a prompter for a test or something” Proctor…sigh.
- We’re watching Amazing Race and the contestants have to go find a baquette….Kevin’s not really paying attention so Mom asks Kevin if he knows what a baquette is…he responds “a really long piece of thread”. Mom points out to Kevin that he should know what a baquette is….it’s a ‘safe’ food for him when he’s in France.
- Walking in from the car, Kevin looks up and says “Hey, there’s oar-ion the Hunter"!”
