The 2nd grade teacher has the kids write this as a baseline to see where they are at with writing. It’s light (I’ve done my best to sharpen it) because Matthew writes light and I’ve made corrections where the words just don’t make sense based on Matthew’s reading of his tale.
Don’t think he can improve on the subject; the words need some work though!
