"Blue Lake International String Orchestra " plays with Ahrensburg Jugensinfonieorchester
The Youth Symphony Orchestra Ahrensburg expects the first to 5 July the visit of the string orchestra "Blue Lake International String Orchestra with 54 members from Michigan , USA. For nearly 40 years, the German -American exchange program exists with the "Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp "and has not lost its topicality.
All American youth and their accompanying persons are staying with families to learn about German family life. Ahrensburg are proud of the fact that we managed to find enough host families immediately .
The framework provides a lot of free time with the families, but also two concerts. In the international community concert on 3 July at 18.30 clock in the Eduard- Söring Hall plays the String Orchestra under the direction of Dorothy McDonald works by Corelli , Grieg, Britten and others. The 54 members of the String Orchestra "Blue Lake International String Orchestra are from the U.S. state of Michigan next Thursday to 5 July live with host families, go on sightseeing tours and of course play with the Ahrensburg adolescents. The joint concert is next Saturday at 18.30 clock in Ahrensburg Söring Edward Hall ( Forest Road 14 ) is planned.
