Soccer

Dodged the raindrops this morning (rained before and after, but not during) to go to East Lansing and have our hats handed to us, 6 or 7 to 1.  I’ve told the boys, it’s pretty simple, if you play aggressive and challenge the ball, we do well, if you watch the other team dribble and pass, well, they’ll do that and you’ll watch the ball go in our goal.

The only quarter where we had any kind of sustained pressure was the third; both Matthew and Christopher were on the field (and played well) but it was another boy, Kirtan, who stepped up and was constantly challenging the ball.

Highlights below.  Not in this highlight was the head ball that Kirtan did after a goal kick that got the boys thinking about that option.
