This vacation was very unusual for us; we try to find one hotel and stay there, or two hotels tops. But, for a long list of reasons that is way too boring to list here, we’re bopping around a little bit this trip. Today we move back to the Strip; Suzanne has a free room at the Wynn, and Matthew and Kevin will be there, and Cpher and I will be at the Mirage in a not-so-expensive-room.
The pool at Red Rock Casino…..or, at least, the fountain for the pool. The boys were dying (DYING) to swim, and it wasn’t very warm here, but, the pools were promoted as heated, so, before we checked out, off we went.
The boys report the main pool was arctic (I wasn’t going in!). The hot tub was nice, and one of the other smaller pools was at a temperature that allowed fric and frac to get some of the aquatic ‘needs’ out of their system.
We did have a nice view from our room at the Mirage; Suzanne’s room at the Wynn (just to the right of center in this picture) was looking out at the other direction.
Our room number? 23023. Told Suzanne that I absolutely had to play roulette while we were here, so, right before we leave I head over and put down $23 dollars on 23. 3 comes up…..oh well.
Walk back by the same table twenty minutes later and look at what the next number to come up was…..23! Totally misread the cosmic sign….I needed to play twice since there were two 23’s in the room number!!
Flowers used at the Bellagio in the conservatory to ‘replicate’ a painting. Tonight was devoted to walking around the Strip and seeing the sights….ate dinner at Mon Ami Gabi; went over and watched the fountains at Bellagio. Watched the volcano at the Mirage….you get the picture.
