Not much to report about the morning; we slept until 10 am, walked down Las Ramblas to get a few essential supplies (Fanta Naranja!) and then took a taxi to the port. Second long duration short distance taxi ride of the trip….the hotel was nice, but the location meant a drive through Las Ramblas to the port….not going to be quick going that way!
The Breeze has a pretty cool entertainment area…and the boys and I spent some serious time checking it out while Suzanne listened to a talk about the ports we were visiting. In the end, she should have stayed with us. Foosball was a lot of fun; Dad beats Fric and Frac two games to none…
The ship is brand new, the golf is brand new…I don’t think I’ve ever played on a course in this good of condition…very nice,.
The real new thing on the ship is the ropes course….I may be wrong but this may be the only ship that has it. And the boys give it a two big thumbs up seal of approval. you walk to about 8 different platforms with different types of rope obstacles between each one…..
Fric
Frac. You’ll note the beautiful blue skies….the weather is gorgeous. Very humid though; weather I’m sure will be a theme coming up looking at the long term forecast
The view from the cove balcony….the port of Barcelona is more functional than picturesque….
Departure from Barcelona
Breeze at the end of the day….
Random Breeze Comments:
- Dinner? Dad and Mom had beef brisket; Matthew had fried chicken, Cpher had sweet and sour shrimp. Chocolate melting cake for three of the four (Matthew had orange sherbert
- Unlike the last cruise, Matthew and Cpher seem to be hanging out with other kids; had to basically drag them out of the pool tonight.
- Tandoori lunch was awesome (same as Dream, good and spicy!). Didn’t have burgers, but, was underwhelmed by what the boys had
