So, the Cayman Sea Day is followed by the last Sea Day of the trip as we head northwest to swing around Cuba and head back to Miami.
Again, not much to report here except for the evening…where the Captain came on the PA and said we had to make an emergency medical stop in Key West to let someone off.
For that person, I guess they picked the best place to have the emergency….anywhere else on the trip would have had you getting off at some Caribbean port and dealing with the local version of Blue Cross / Blue Shield. At least here everything is set up for your insurance, etc….and there is a US airport to fly home from….
We were treated to the first of the great Key West sunsets. No views of Key West, wrong side of the ship for that and we stayed on the balcony.
A whole lot of packing to do tonight…..we’ll take our time getting off the ship tomorrow in Miami and heading out….and back to Key West.
