Pictures of some, but not all, of the souvenirs we brought back from the trip
We collect recyclable grocery bags; that’s our thing and has been our thing for a few years now. And this trip, until England, was a huge bust on that front. Visited a few stores in Barcelona; nothing. Nothing in Italy. The only one we were able to get was from a small grocery store in Dubrovnik where we stopped to get some drinks and snacks before heading to the beach…
Google tells me it says “With you through life and nature conservation”
Now this is a bag! Look at those rope handles! From Hamley’s, the big toy store in Piccadilly Circus, the bag was pricy but well worth it.
We also picked up bags from the Tower of London and the Globe Theatre
Picked up football cards at Hamley’s…..Matthew very geeked by this move
First big purchase of the trip; this bowl from a ceramic shop in Positano…

and a flower vase. Suzanne was trying to decide on which one to get when I walked in…I said both.
Limoncello from Sorrento/Positano. We purchased the smaller bottle in Sorrento not knowing that we were going to get the larger bottle as a ‘thank you’ from the limo company we booked the private tour through (we got two bottles actually; we have more limoncello than we can drink!)
Wine and olive oil from Tuscany
and Christopher’s mask from Venice….the mask, papier-mâché, got a little damp in a bag with water bottle much to the big guy’s chagrin. But, it hardened back into place and all looks to be well.
