Euro2012 – Day Twenty – London

A really quiet day today…..a combination of rain, exhaustion, and generally feeling under the weather…

Matthew has, even on vacation, managed to have a soccer ball at his feet a lot.  Begged, coerced, cajoled and connived his way into buying a ball yesterday and so Fric and Frac are out here booting the ball around.

Francis Drake’s The Golden Hinde….another Cpher request.  We had passed this the other day (after the Globe) and then they mentioned it on the river cruise, and Cpher, having read about Drake in Social Studies, asked to come back and do the tour…

It’s really a small ship….very surprised by that.  Ceilings were only 5’-6” below?  Lots of stooping..

Walked through Waterloo Station on the way back to the hotel so that the boys could see that and had to walk through this tunnel to get under the tracks back to our hotel.  Organized graffiti?  just multiple layers of paint and paint and paint and paint going on in here….

Have to get up at 5:20 am tomorrow to go home; I think we’re all ready to get back home.
