Euro2012 – Day Nineteen – London

 

As the trip winds down, the number of events in each day is smaller and smaller.  The trip to Greenwich yesterday was a big thing, but, today was hang-around-London day…

We took a cab up to Piccadilly Circus for lunch; stopped in the sports/soccer store that we had recommended to us (for the second time this trip!) and then did some window shopping and walked around.  I’m not sure if these flags are here all the time or just for the Olympics…

Finished the day hanging out in Green Park….chairs cost a pound fifty for the hour.  Nice sunny day, boys got to run around a bit…

Watched the Euro2012 final in the hotel room; Spain looked unstoppable.  A good day, but pretty low key.
