Headed west across the top of the lower peninsula towards Traverse City on Sunday. The events after lunch have as many pictures as this post and will require their own post.
You may wonder at the sudden burst of blog posting….the first three were done while I was off the ‘net and I never posted them…the rest are while I’m sitting waiting for the plane to board.
We stopped at this scenic overlook on the west side of Petoskey, there was a nice stairway that took you down to this park and the shorefront.

Stopped halfway between Petoskey and Charlevoix for some more rock skipping and to try and find a petoskey stone or two. No success on the latter.
Had lunch in Charlevoix….this is the view from the deck of the restaurant; we got to watch the drawbridge go up and down twice.
