Sunday was leave San Diego head north to Newport Beach day. So, there wasn’t much accomplished on the scenic front.
We did stop at La Jolla Cove though….

Christopher, Matthew, and I walked around a rock outcropping on the west side of the cove to get to these somewhat secluded spots
A mostly natural cave; they put in some pillars and supports sometime in the past though…
On the rocks…filling Mom with fright with every step as the waves come crashing in
Sea lions are visible on the lower rocks…
